Successful day at Congresbury Village Fete on 1st July

What a beautiful sunny afternoon it was for the Congresbury Fete on Saturday 1st July where award-winning Debbie Fortune Estate Agents attended with Wallace, their vintage Austin 7, stuffed full of balloons, to help raise funds for new equipment for Congresbury pre-school.

Debbie Fortune was the judge for the best stall of which the theme was Books, and the winner was “The Secret Garden” entered by Congresbury Horticultural Society.

During the afternoon, there were gymnastics displays from the Congresbury Gymnastics Club, as well as the popular Scruff’s Dog Show in which our own office mascot, Reggie was entered in the Best Trick category and he won second prize! Reggie very kindly donated his winnings to the amount Debbie Fortune Estate Agents raised on the day, taking their total to £75.

Local youngster Will, aged 11, who goes to St Andrew’s Primary School, guessed the correct amount of balloons and was presented with his prize, an Amazon Fire Tablet, at the Wrington office by director Jo Woolley.
