Take a look at this very poignant and fascinating film from the 1940’s, it features the beautiful village of Chew Magna and includes some footage of our very own Chew Magna office. Despite the nearby cities of Bristol & Bath suffering catastrophic damage during the Second World War, Chew Magna, like many of our other local villages was incredibly fortunate to escape major damage, and remained largely unscathed, a real blessing for our villagers and community.
