Katherine Holder, who works at Chew Magna Primary School, came to our office to collect the Amazon Fire Tablet. She correctly guessed the number of balloons in our car, at the fete in Chew Magna on Saturday. This was a fantastic event yet again this year!

A great week so far in the Backwell office, as the team are busy agreeing multiple sales prior to the weekend ensuring we all go home happy bunnies!

Amy Brooks in particular stood out, as one happy buyer comments:

'Thanks again for your help and thanks to Amy for putting this house on the radar in the first place. As I mentioned yesterday, we had been searching for 3 bedrooms and above so never would’ve come across this one.'

Priceless estate agency proving once again that good old fashioned customer service still cannot be beaten!

Here at the lettings department, our service standards remain our top priority.

Due to our continued expansion, we are pleased to introduce, Victoria Taylor, our new ‘lettings maintenance co-ordinator’.

Joining Lisa and Kathryn, she will be at the end of the phone to help deal with any maintenance problems you may have. With over 25 years in customer service, her positive, professional nature, and with her attention to customer delight, she’s already proving to be the perfect fit within Debbie Fortune Estate Agents Lettings team.

She’s already had some lovely feedback from a happy client- “Thank you so much for your help, you are, by far the best estate agent I’ve spoken to in a long time”

In her spare time, Victoria loves spending time with her family and is a very keen equestrian.

Here is Dave Williams of our Congresbury office, enjoying the wonderful setting of Blagdon Court for this year’s Blagdon summer fete. Another local event Debbie Fortune Estate agents are proud to support. Dave was ably assisted by his lovely partner Julia and Pepe, who yet again proved a huge attraction with his guess the balloon game raising much needed funds for our chosen charities!

Fantastic feedback from Jackie Roe of Veale Wasbrough Vizards Solicitors, regarding our Backwell Manager, Joseph Down:

"Morning Joseph

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for helping us get the exchange across the line. There were days when I thought it was just not going to happen! Our clients have not moved for years and found the whole process quite difficult. As you know some of the other agents in the chain were less responsive than you……….which made it more diffic...ult than usual.
Anyway so pleased we got it over the line, we would not have done so without your help, a great example of how well we can work together.

Paul Anderson, from Withywood, came to our Congresbury office to collect an Amazon Fire Tablet for his fourteen-year-old daughter, Lillie, who correctly guessed the number of balloons that were inside of Wallace, our little 1927 Austin 7 Chummy at this year's North Somerset Show.

Lillie also has a brother, William, and a sister, Holly, who she has promised to share the tablet with!
Neil Drejer, our Congresbury office manager was very proud to shake the hand of a fellow Bristol Rugby supporter and present the prize!

Once again we sponsored the Mendip Classic Car and Vintage Car Rally which took place on Sunday, 13th May, in beautiful sunny conditions.

This superbly organised event was open to 160 pre-1988 vehicles and is now in its 24th year, it started at ‘(Sanders) Garden World a Wyevale Garden Centre at Brent Knoll, and followed a scenic route of 85 miles across the Mendip Hills. Stopping for lunch at ‘Haynes International Motor Museum at Sparkford’. Then on to finish the day with a spectacular display of the cars on the Lawns of the majestic Wells Cathedral. Judging took place throughout the day and the winners of the various categories were awarded their trophies in the afternoon.

Starts at the event included the managers of the Congresbury office and Backwell office, Neil Drejer and Joseph Down. Director Jo Tiley saw the competitors arrive at Wells.

It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves at the Duck Race organised by Winford Primary School's PTA on Saturday, 28th April! Despite the weather, we are pleased to report there was an excellent turnout to see which lucky duck brought home the spoils!
