DESCRIPTION Now this well presented two bed country cottage is THE one, and this will be extremely popular. In the middle of a short run of a few classic country cottages in the middle of Blagdon, overlooking The Mead open-parkland to the front, with a view down to the local village church, the cricket field, and field views. A short walk across the Mead and you get lake views as well. It's a classic British countryside setting. To the front there is even space for an outside table ideal for al fresco dining while gazing wistfully at that great view. A small porch area then leads you into the property. Stripped engineered oak flooring covers the whole area and to the left is the kitchen which has been recently renovated, with a range of wall and base units with marble work surfaces over, an inset sink and range style cooker. There is plumbing for a washing machine to the side and also enough space for table and chairs in front of the window, which again takes advantage of that open view. The open and airy living room has another window overlooking the front and a rather large and lovely inset inglenook-style fireplace which houses a wood burner by 'Aga' for the winter evenings. Upstairs there are two good sized double bedrooms, one having a built in cupboard and hanging space, but both having front field views. The family bathroom has a white suite with wood sidings, a shower over the bath and slate tiling to the shower sensitive areas.
Outside to the front has space to enjoy the view, with a stone path and chipping areas interspersed with grasses and flowers. A path leads up to the side, following the wall, passing through a hedged sided path, and then opens out in the rear garden area, enclosed by hedging and fencing, which comes with the property. EPC rating E.
DIRECTIONS Travelling on the A368 from Churchill traffic lights through Blagdon, the road will bear sharply left passing the Seymour Arms on your right hand side. A little way down on your left hand side is the entrance to The Mead park-land where there is easy off road parking. Walk through the gate and follow the path down to the row of cottages on the left hand side. (There is a further path which leads through to the Blagdon Stores shop).

OUR VENDOR SAYS What really drew me to this cottage was the amazing location in the heart of the countryside in Blagdon, with surrounding country walks, the lake close by and the open views. It's a lovely size property as well giving good floor space in the kitchen and lounge and also good size bedrooms.
WE HAVE NOTICED These cottages rarely come to market and we are sure this will not last long on the market. Really well presented throughout, bright and airy, generous room sizes and with great views this property is a rare find. The added advantage is being near the local shop and local schools.
