An absolutely stunning four bedroom family home that has been subject to a breath taking grand design makeover in recent years, to create what is now a dream lifestyle home.
The very first impression, sets the scene of a house which has been improved in practically every way possible. A handsome contemporary brick storm porch contrasts with the white washed rendered walls and charcoal double glazed windows, whilst a smart under-croft parking area adds a practical space a to unload the shopping and dry off the dog. A pedestrian gate from the under croft provides a useful external access through to the garden.
Entering the house through the attractive Storm porch you get a real sense of the interior design acumen that has been afforded to this wonderful home, the fresh colour palate and refined touches make the home truly individual. To the front of the house is a lovely snug sitting room with fitted bookshelves, oak flooring, and a retro cast iron radiator. Beyond the snug sitting room lies a second sitting/family room which opens through to the exceptional kitchen/diner, which quite literally takes your breath away. The sitting area features a cast iron wood-burner, modern upright radiator, and a continuation of the rich oak floor as the front snug, however it is what opens up beyond the sitting room that is what sets this house aside from your average home. Measuring 22'0 x 20'0 and with a incredible vaulted ceiling, with four large Velux windows showering it in natural light, is the magnificent kitchen/dining and family room. Graced by full width bi-fold doors to the rear there is a glorious array of fitted modern shaker style units and a separate matching island unit with a butlers sink and chic breakfast bar. There are Solid wood and quartz worktops, trendy metro tiled splashbacks and space for a full rangemaster style cooker. With more than enough room for soft furniture and a formal dining table if desired, this centre point to the house flows effortlessly out to the rear garden. There is also a well presented and handy separate utility room and cloakroom that complete the ground floor accommodation.
On the first floor, accessed off a light and airy landing area are the four bedrooms, family bathroom and dressing room. The main bedroom features fitted wardrobes that span the full width of one wall, this room has use of a separate further dressing room accessed off the hallway. There are three further good sized bedrooms with a classy family bathroom included a three piece modern white suite and separate shower.
Outside, the garden is every bit as impressive as the house, and with no less attention to detail. Displaying a fresh, almost Mediterranean vibe, the garden stretches out as far as the eye can see with several, beautifully landscaped terraces either featuring composite decking or porcelain patio tiles. There are numerous raised planters featuring gorgeous architectural plants along with a smart battened fencing. As you continue down from the entertaining area of the garden there is a large lawned area that continues down to a further wooden deck and then a designated children's play area with soft bark chipping and lots of room for play equipment.
To complete this quite remarkable home, there is the essential outside home office with a separate phone line, and two fitted desks, plus a large garage/workshop with lots of space for storing bikes, outdoor equipment, and hobby paraphernalia.
