Letting property in North Somerset, the Wrington Vale, the Chew Valley, the Yeo Valley, the Mendips and Somerset

We believe that the core values of a personal approach and the highest level of service are as important in residential lettings as they are in sales, which is why we accompany all viewings.

We recognise a huge part of our business is from personal recommendation and repeat business, so we look after our landlords and tenants in exactly the same way as we look after our buyers and sellers.

Letting your property with Debbie Fortune Estate Agents could not be easier. We offer a complete range of services from ‘introductory let only’ where we find you the right tenant and then leave the rest to you, to a ‘fully managed approach‘ where we look after the whole thing for you - you simply hand us the keys and walk away.

Or a combination of the two.

Our services also include a health check of your property portfolio, covering

  • Review of your existing rental contracts - are they as watertight as they should be?
  • Review of your current rental yields - are you getting the correct rent or should you be asking more?
  • Review of all your documentation and cerification by our company lawyers - have they kept up with the constant changes in legislation?
  • Are you within the law?
  • Our documentation is continually reviewed by our company lawyers to ensure that we comply with ever changing legislation.
  • Any rental contract that are out of the ordinary will be reviewed, usually free of charge, by our company lawyers.

We know the area inside out, know how to attract the right tenants to your property, and provide a full credit checking and tenancy deposit service. We can also help you with removals and storage, energy performance certificates, safety certificates, inventories, maintenance, utilities, insurance (including rental guarantee insurance), income reports for tax returns and all the paperwork associated with letting a property.

In any property market, renting out your home can often be a financially viable option if you really have to move.

That’s where our sell-let scheme comes into its own. As long as your tenants know the score from day one, it’s possible to have your house on the market for sale whilst your tenants cover the cost of your mortgage.

That way you can move to your new home without the worry of leaving your old one empty.

Come and see us at our Letting Department at our Congresbury office, and have a relaxing chat, with a great cup of coffee, and tell us what you really want and where you want to live.

We know the area like the back of our hand and can help you with finest detail of finding the home you want to rent. Distances from your place of work, public transport, good schools, good pubs – we can point you in the right direction. We have the knowledge to help you and it won’t cost you a penny.

My situation was unique and in my opinion, Lisa went above and beyond. Thank you! Miss B, Wrington

Lisa was open to suggestions, pursued the tenants, supplied us with names of service providers, got us a great monthly rent. Very pleased with the quality, speed and efficiency of the process. Mr C, Barrow Gurney

I would like to thank Kathryn, a very pleasant professional lady, and your company, for reinstalling our faith in estate agents professionalism, as we have encountered some horrendous organisations in our attempt to find a new home. We would be more than pleased to rent from your company as opposed to other so called agents. Mr T, Chew Magna
